Am I the only person annoyed by some inconsiderate person at the Barangaroo Delivery Authority sharing my personal email address with 1153 complete strangers by openly cc-ing everyone in an email late last week?!?!?

If my email angers you at all, don't blame me ... blame the Barangaroo Delivery Authority. It was THEM who shared all of our private email addresses.

If they can't have respect for a simple thing like basic email etiquette, then why are they in control of such a major public project?

Now that they have done this, though, I want to take this opportunity to beg ALL of you to take a greater interest in the current plan.

Especially in regards to but by no means limited to ...

- TRANSPORT ... Wynyard train station will be expected to handle more than DOUBLE the current number of peak hour passengers. That will be ridiculously dangerous. Much worse than anything in Japan!

- CONTAMINATION ... the current plan to "remediate" the toxic soil beneath the site is questionable at best. I urge you to do your own research into their plan (I'm no chemical engineer!). It's seems they want to pump something akin to detergent into the ground, make the toxins float up and dissipate in some way, yet leave all the heavy metals in situ. And what if the surrounding ground cracks when the excavation starts and this poison makes its way to the harbour?

- MOVING THE CRUISE SHIP TERMINAL ... all of that extra traffic going across the ANZAC Bridge when large cruise ships have to dock at White Bay?

- HOTEL IN THE HARBOUR ... how dare they intrude into our Harbour in such a crude way?!?!?!

- QUESTIONABLE PRACTICES ... here's just the latest in a long, longlist of controversies ...
Keneally plugs into parking pay day

- THE PROCESS ... and their lack of respect for the opinions of The City of Sydney, The National Trust, Leichardt Council, North Sydney Council and numerous resident action groups.

- SHADOWING ... there's going to be lots of dark, cold areas around the site and it's surrounding environment.

- WIND TUNNEL EFFECTS ... spend time between any two large buildings on a single day and you'll see what I mean.

- AESTHETICS ... putting an ugly, overpowering construction like this on the edge of Sydney Harbour is NOT what this already great city needs. Is Sydney just an aspiring Hong Kong or Shanghai??

Shame on the BDA ... shame on the NSW Government ... shame on Kristina Keneally ... shame on Paul Keating ... shame on Lend Lease ... shame on the REST of us for letting them get away with what they have!

Again, PLEASE do your own research ... get informed!

Have a nice day ... apologies for the intrusion ... you will not hear from me again ...
