| It is wrong for Lend Lease to portray that it has public opinion behind
them. This is one of the most overwrought steamrollered projects (refer
to the former planning minister Frank Sartor's recent comments) where
the Barangaroo Development Authority, Sydney Harbour Foreshore
Authority, the Department of Planning and especially the former premier
decided they were going to back whatever the BDA and SHFA wanted and
provide no criticism, oversight, safeguards or urban design
improvements. I note that the current Part 3A Concept Plan approval has
virtually no conditions requiring any design changes - how is that
possible for a development that covers the equivalent of three city
