Diane Davie makes a noble but futile call for green bans on Barangaroo. Such bans require implementation by strong and influential unions with a social conscience. When Labor joined the Coalition in bed with the big end of town it also began its long-term policy of diluting union power through a myriad of devices which have by and large worked. The only force left in NSW to stop Barangaroo is people power, but it better act quickly if it's going to halt this abomination. Howard Charles Glebe |
