Lend Lease has provided an excellent example of how to conduct a biased survey.

Select respondents with no connection to the site, do not specifically ask them about the excessive commercialisation, the removal of normal height restrictions or the banishment of tourists from the site. Show them a rosy artist's representation of the development where one needs to strain one's eyes to see that the hotel actually protrudes into the harbour. Then claim that they, the general community (?), have been misled by a vocal minority of protesters. Perhaps this itself is a misleading claim.
