It is more than just a little sad to read a collection of letters on Saturday where the writers descend to personal attacks on Paul Keating because he had previously descended to personal attacks. The worth of the Barangaroo development has nothing to do with whether a person chews muesli, dresses in a Zegna suit, collects old clocks or has a university degree in architecture. None of which will have any impact on the project. The questions that should be addressed are: is it a good development and will Sydney be a better place when it is competed? So far most of those having a say on the project do not seem to be interested in those facts. Lindsay Foyle Stanmore
