Thanks, Mr O'Farrell, someone's listening

I congratulate Barry O'Farrell for keeping his promises on the Barangaroo project (''Harbour project rethink ordered'', May 11). Brad Hazzard is also right in saying there is no benefit in litigation.

Minor changes to the project could keep the core of the idea supported by Paul Keating. As much as I like his spin on this development, the delivery was far from impressive.

If that obscene hotel in the middle of the bay is shifted back, the project would be a long way towards being acceptable.

The height of the buildings could also be rearranged so as not to produce the massive cliff effect projected on the waterfront. We must stop building over the water.
