When we need him, Jack Mundey, seemingly tireless environmental campaigner aged 81, is the patron of the Barangaroo Action Group and one of the organisers of the People's Petition to bring on parliamentary debate on the Barangaroo proposal. Jack was a member, along with Paul Keating, of the design competition committee that chose the winning Philip Thalis design, later thrown out by the former state government.
